I started investing in real estate
in 1999 I thought I knew what I was doing but didnt
really know where to start. I never managed to get any real
estate deals. I never had a mentor, never attended any classes
and never got advice from anyone who was making money in real
estate. In 2006 I was deployed to Iraq. I thought to myself
if God blesses me to get home safely I was going to take real
estate investing to the next level.
I spent 17 months away from home and that gave me a lot of
time to think. While I was in Iraq I searched the Internet
looking for real estate investor clubs in California. I came

I returned home in September 2007. Two days after returning
home I called the REIC not by chance Phyllis answered the

in my real estate investing career.
